Terms of use
Last updated: 1 October 2026
These terms cover the use of this website, operated by Contractors Machinery Sales Inc., a New York business corporation (NY DOS ID 8021345) based in Queens, New York. Purchases and shipments themselves are governed by the written quote and invoice you receive from us, not by this page.
1. Information on this website
The website describes our services and gives general information about exporting vehicles from the United States. It is not legal, customs or tax advice. Import rules, duties and registration requirements at your destination change and differ by country; confirm them with your customs broker or local authority before you bid on a vehicle.
2. Landed cost estimate
The estimate on this website is indicative. It is calculated in your browser from standard tariffs and the inputs you choose, and it does not take into account the specific lot, the yard, the carrier schedule, fuel surcharges, or the condition of the vehicle. It excludes import duties, VAT and customs costs at the destination. It is not an offer. A binding price is only the written quote we send for a specific lot and destination.
3. Transit times
Transit times shown are typical for recent sailings on each lane. They depend on carrier schedules, port handling and customs and are not guaranteed.
4. Documents
We export vehicles only with the original title or an equivalent ownership document accepted by US Customs and Border Protection. We may decline a lot if its document type cannot be exported as a vehicle or if the destination does not accept it.
5. Use of the website
You may use this website to find out about our services and to contact us. You may not copy, scrape or republish its content, interfere with its operation, or use it to send unsolicited messages.
6. Liability
The website is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions you make in reliance on the information or estimates shown here, including bids placed at auction. Liability for a shipment we have accepted is set out in the quote, the invoice and the carrier's bill of lading.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising from the use of this website is subject to the courts located in Queens County, New York.
